Welcoming Three New Trustees to the ECS Board of Trustees!

October 16, 2026

Episcopal Community Services is very excited to welcome three additional new trustees to the Board this fiscal year (July 2026 – June 2027). These new additions to our board bring valuable expertise from our community and help ECS drive impact on our mission.

Melinda Tuan

Melinda joined the ECS Board in September 2026, and brings her experience as an independent consultant to philanthropic organizations nationwide. She will bring much value to ECS’ Advancement Committee, on which she serves. Prior to being a consultant, Melinda served as Managing Director of the Fund for Shared Insight. She has founded and been a part of a number of initiatives, including Redefine Alliance, Boston Cares, and Dayspring Partners, among others.

She has a passion for working with mission-driven organizations, and is an Episcopalian, worshipping at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral. Melinda holds an AB from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Rev. Jordan Casson

Jordan is the sixth rector of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, and joins us on both the board and the Clergy Council this past September 2026. Since 2020, he has been commissioned to be the Canon for Peace and Reconciliation for the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania. Jordan co-chairs the Diocese’s Loving Presence group and chairs the Absalom Jones Committee for the Diocese of Pennsylvania.

Jordan is a graduate of Morehouse College, where he began his advocacy for civil and human rights, and joined the Martin Luther King Jr. Chapel Assistant Program. He became an Episcopal Clergyman after attending the Chandler School of Theology at Emory University.  He holds a Masters of Divinity while working at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Atlanta, and has been called to serve youth throughout his career. Jordan has been inducted into the Martin Luther King Kr. Board of Preachers and Scholars, and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha.

Eric Murchinson

Eric joins ECS’ Finance Committee and Board this past September 2026 as a Commercial Banker and founder of MYBA, Inc., a technology platform to eliminate barriers for entrepreneurs to gain access to capital. He brings over a decade of experience in strategic relationship management centered commercial and business banking, including in real estate. Eric’s career has been focused on close collaboration with banking teams to deliver solutions that strengthen bank assets, generate loan growth, and deepen relationships with clients and stakeholders. He was a founding member of the Business Banking Division at Citadel Credit Union.

Eric is a Philadelphia native, and is deeply committed to ECS’ mission. He is a graduate from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a Next Generation Developers Certification from Drexel University, where he will also pursue an MBA from next year.

Please join us in welcoming Melinda, Jordan, and Eric to the ECS family. We are grateful for their leadership and look forward to the impact we will make together in the year ahead.
