Voter Information Event in Philadelphia: Get Ready for the May 19 Primary Election

ECS Philly Inclusion and Advocacy will host a Voter Information Event in Philadelphia to help residents get ready for the May 19 Primary Election. The event will take place at the St. Barnabas Community Resource Center on Tuesday, April 28, from 11 AM to 3 PM. It will be held outside the pantry so families can easily stop by.

This event is open to Philadelphia residents who want help with voter registration, finding their polling place, and understanding the ballot.

  • Sample ballots
  • Simple explanations of ballot questions
  • Information on BIPOC and women’s voting rights
  • Tools to find your polling place
  • Resources from partners like Committee of Seventy
  • Voter registration forms
  • A fun cookie voting activity to learn how voting works

In this election, voters will choose:

  • U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania’s 3rd District
  • Governor
  • Lieutenant Governor
  • Pennsylvania House of Representatives for District 192
