Meet the Newest Members of ECS’ Program Committee
We’re thrilled to welcome four outstanding leaders to the Program Committee at ECS. This committee plays a vital role in supporting and overseeing our programs, assessing their impact, and advising the board on strategic opportunities for growth and innovation.
Kena Sears-Brown
An administrative leader at Villanova University and a longtime partner of ECS’s OST, MindSet, and health and wellness programs, Kena brings deep expertise in community development and adult education. A proud West Philadelphia native, she continues to amplify the voices of our neighbors and strengthen our ties to higher education institutions.
Sarah Steltz
As a senior leader at University City District, Sarah connects ECS to one of West Philadelphia’s key economic development engines. Her workforce development expertise and leadership of The Skills Initiative—now nationally recognized—will be instrumental in advancing our Bridge program and expanding opportunities for our participants.
Iola Harper
A champion of entrepreneurship and equitable economic growth, Iola has held influential roles at The Enterprise Center and the Philadelphia Commerce Department. Her lifelong commitment to uplifting underserved communities and fostering sustainable business practices aligns powerfully with ECS’s mission.
Josh Miller-Myers
A philanthropic strategist at TD Bank Charitable Foundation, Josh brings a strong background in community investment and public health. His experience at PHMC and dedication to equity and innovation will help guide ECS’s program development with insight and impact.
