Proof is in the Partnership

ECS and the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania work together to connect faith with action. Through parish partnerships, a shared covenant, and a dedicated chaplain, we support congregations in offering outreach, education, and service—strengthening communities and walking alongside neighbors striving for stability, opportunity, and lasting change.

Our Chaplain

ECS’s chaplain, Kyle Evans, nurtures relationships between parishes and communities, helping uncover how shared service reflects the heart of the Gospel. As a bridge between ECS and congregations, the chaplain fosters understanding, challenges misconceptions, and inspires meaningful outreach rooted in faith, compassion, and our Baptismal Covenant.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join ECS at the St. Barnabas Community Resource Center to help prepare individual meals for neighbors facing food insecurity. It’s a hands-on volunteer opportunity that directly supports families in West Philadelphia—and a meaningful way to connect, give back, and be part of a stronger, more caring community.

Connect with our Chaplain.

The ECS Chaplain offers spiritual support and guidance for parish partnerships—walking with you in justice, mission, and ministry.
