Join us for an evening of masterful music, wine, and hors d’oeuvres to kick-off the 150th anniversary year of Episcopal Community Services.

WHEN
Sunday, February 9, 2020
5:00pm – 7:00pm

WHERE
225 South 3rd Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106

Members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the world’s most renowned orchestras, will perform classical scores of Beethoven during this celebratory tribute concert benefitting Episcopal Community Services and Musicopia.

Members include:

Paul Arnold + Christine Lim, violins
Philip Kates, viola
Kathryn Picht Read, cello
Jennifer Montone + Ernesto Tovar Torres, horns

Bookending the quartet and sextet performances will be striking percussion sounds produced by members of the Musicopia Drumlines program. Musicopia’s mission is to provide opportunities for children to experience, learn, perform, and appreciate music. Musicopia reaches thousands of Philadelphia-area children each year and places a priority on reaching students who are cut off from the region’s rich cultural life.

The evening will honor Beethoven’s 250th birthday and celebrate Episcopal Community Services’ sesquicentennial, plus 35 years of Community Outreach Partnership.

Lots to celebrate during this night of blending arts & culture and human services! Proceeds of the Celebration 2020 order will benefit students, graduates, and our neighbors in need.
